45+ overlays. One for every job.

Timing towers, driver cards, battles, flags, pit and penalty cards, grids, podiums, championships and sponsor breaks, all driven by the same live iRacing session and all following your theme.

Out of the box only the leaderboard, the driver card and session status are on. An update never puts a new graphic on air.

The core overlays and the flag family are free. Pro adds the rest of the racing set; League adds championships and crew credits.

The catalogue.

Every overlay you can put on air, under the app’s own name and grouped by what it is for. Each one is its own OBS or vMix browser source, or part of the single Program source.

Sample race. The 10 overlays with a Preview button are supplied captures, placed where they sit on air; the rest are listed without a picture.

The grid intro, before the green flag

Before the start, the grid intro brings the starting order on screen two cars at a time, class by class, with each driver's qualifying time and gap to pole. It is part of Free. Oval Pylon has its own cards; the other looks put their mark on the EDR Broadcast cards.

The app's grid intro, recorded from the current build on its sample data.

Sponsors, breaks and stings.

Leagues sell sponsorship, so the partner graphics are part of the show, not an afterthought. Build them in Scene Config, under Branding and extras, and fire them by hand, from a key or over HTTP.

  • Sponsor strapSponsor images rotating in the lower centre, with the interval and transition you choose.
  • On-board camera bugTags an on-board camera with the car number, surname and the driver’s partner logo, and counts each airing.
  • Adverts and ad breaksFull-screen sponsor video, image or card from Broadcast Media. An ad break plays up to five back to back from one button.
  • Stings and wipesInstant replay and live wipes as the director goes to a replay and back, plus your own WebM stings, fired by hand.
  • Takeover Studio and partnersA three-step studio for takeovers (style, partners, placement) and a partners library to keep every logo in one place.
  • Takeover keep-upPin the small overlays you want above a full-screen takeover; the rest hide while it is up.
Split: the live picture beside a sponsor clip and a logo box. Layout diagram, not the on-air artwork.

Questions.

How many overlays are there?

More than 45 on the public plans. New overlays arrive switched off, so an update never changes what is on air.

What does Free include?

The leaderboards, relative, session status, the driver card, the standings ticker, the starting grid, the race info card, podium and results, the flag family and the small extras such as the replay badge and the restart grid.

What is on when I first install?

Only the leaderboard, the driver card and session status. Switch the rest on in the Overlays section when you want them.

Do I need one browser source per overlay?

No. One 1920 by 1080 Program source composites every overlay you switch on. Add single overlays as their own sources when you want to layer or crop them in OBS or vMix.

Can I design my own overlay?

On League, the Theme Editor builds new overlays and publishes them at their own address. Enterprise covers custom work built for you.

Run your own show.

EDR Broadcast is free to start on Windows, with the core overlays included. Try every Pro overlay for 14 days from inside the app: no card, no automatic charge.
