Your EDR driver profile
One profile, keyed on your iRacing customer id. Fill it in once and every league broadcasting with EDR Broadcast can show your name, flag, pronunciation and socials correctly - if and only if you publish it.
Claim your iRacing customer id
Your profile is keyed on your iRacing customer id, so claim it first. Find it in iRacing under Account > My Account. Claims are first come, first served; if someone has already taken yours, contact EDR and we will sort it out.
Headshot
Cropped square and re-encoded in your browser before it is sent, which strips camera metadata and keeps the upload small. A league has to approve your photo before it can go on air, and replacing it sends it back for approval.
Identity
How broadcasts should name you. Short name is your own abbreviation - it replaces the automatic one wherever an overlay is set to short names.
Socials and streaming
Handles only - no links. EDR builds the URL itself, which is what stops a profile from ever carrying an arbitrary link on air.
Team, sponsor and extras
Publish and visibility
Nothing you type is visible to anyone until you publish it. Visibility then decides who may resolve it: any licensed EDR broadcast, only leagues that have you on their roster, or nobody at all.
Your data
Export and delete always work, whatever else is switched on. Releasing your claim unpublishes and hides your profile but keeps it, so a mistaken claim is not a data loss; deleting removes the profile and the headshot outright.
